Most of us use google on a daily basis, it is awesome and extremely helpful. Today, we will know about a new google app called ‘Google Classroom’. Google Classroom is a free service by google which helps teachers and students to interact with each other in a new way. Here, teachers can post assignments to students and students can submit them online very easily. Students can ask doubts through comments or through email. The google classroom is only available to the students having the class code, no need to create any account, as this service works on your google account.

Students and teachers can easily share some of the google services like Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms, etc. It also creates a folder in the ‘Google Drive’ named Classroom which can be seen by the teacher easily. Google keeps on updating the interaction quality and provides more advanced services with time.

This app is an awesome alternative to paid apps like : Snaphomework, Fresh Grade, Class Dojo, etc. The mobile apps for android and IOS are also available and can be accessed online. This service provides a nice and clean User Interface. Teachers can monitor the progress for each student and can respond to all the comments.

If you want to start now, then follow the steps mentioned below :

Step 1 : Visit classroom.google.com / Download mobile app.

Step 2 : Login to your Google Account.

Step 3 : Click the + sign on the top right corner.

Step 4 : Click ‘Create Class’ .

Step 5 : Enter Class Details [Note that only Class Name is compulsory, else is optional]

Step 6 : Now, click on the class and open settings.

Step 7 : Under the ‘General’ Section, find the class code.

Step 7

Step 8 : Copy the class code and share it with your students.

Step 7 : Select ‘People’ from Navbar.

Step 8 : Now you can invite students and teachers to the class by adding their Email Address.

Step 9 : Now you can post the work in the ‘Stream’ Section just like you post on other social media.

Step 10 : You can even post assignments, questions, etc; in the ‘Classwork’ section.
